It fully fits with the auditory canal and the bracket (or clamp) helps to make the ear-bud stable and the insertion or extraction even easier. It can be produced with rigid acrylic material, soft acrylic or silicone. It is generally used for rear aural hearing aid or implemented in the earpiece of eyeglasses. It is recommended for soft and medium hearing loss.
